An engrossing first leg finished 2-2 in Rotterdam on Thursday, Mikel Merino scoring an injury-time equaliser after goals from Cody Gakpo and Tijjani Reijnders had overturned Spain’s early lead through Nico Williams.
The home side were reduced to 10 men in the closing stages and could not manage to hold on to their advantage, meaning there is all to play for in Valencia.

Spain will be without the injured Pau Cubarsi and suspended Ayoze Perez for this second leg. Dean Huijsen came off the bench for Cubarsi last time out and is likely to get his first senior start here, unless Luis de la Fuente decides to move Marc Cucurella to centre-back and bring in the attack-minded left-back Alejandro Grimaldo.
