The 2025 Formula 1 campaign is officially underway.
There has been criticism of F1’s geographical planning of races in recent years, so efforts have been made this season to create a more logical and environmentally sustainable calendar.
In another significant change, Melbourne hosted the season-opener for the first time since 2019, with the Australian Grand Prix taking place in mid-March.
The Jugo Mobile has the full schedule for 2025, with the opening two races now complete.
F1 schedule 2025
The 2025 F1 season will again feature 24 races, with no changes in host cities.
It began at Albert Park in Australia, with the Chinese Grand Prix kicking off a run of four races in Asia.
The Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Grands Prix will both take place in April since Ramadan is occurring during March.
Miami will follow, before the action heads to Europe in May.
Apart from a one-off trip to Canada, races will be held exclusively in the continent until September, with the customary European summer break set for July.
Azerbaijan and Singapore are next on the schedule before F1 heads to the Americas, with Grands Prix to be held in the United States (Las Vegas and Austin), Mexico and Brazil.
The last two races of the season will take place in the Middle East, with Abu Dhabi to host the 2025 finale, as usual.
F1 2025 sprint race schedule
Sprint races will remain in 2025, with six tracks designated to host the format.
The first sprint weekend will take place at the second Grand Prix of the season in China, followed by Miami in May.
Two months later, Belgium will host a sprint race.
The final three selected Grands Prix will occur within just over one month of each other – Austin, Brazil and Qatar.

F1 2025 driver lineup: Confirmed drivers, grid
Lewis Hamilton’s switch from Mercedes to Ferrari has triggered plenty of driver movement for 2025.
Williams have notably signed Carlos Sainz following his departure from the Scuderia.
Red Bull, meanwhile, have parted ways with Sergio Perez, promoting Liam Lawson to the vacant seat. Yuki Tsunoda remains with their sister team Racing Bulls, however.
Nico Hulkenberg has switched to Sauber for 2025, while F2 driver Ollie Bearman will make his full-time F1 debut with Haas, partnering with former Alpine man Esteban Ocon.
Rookies Jack Doohan, Isack Hadjar and Gabriel Bortoleto move into full-time seats with Alpine, Racing Bulls and Sauber, respectively.
