The NBA Playoffs are nearly here. There are just a week’s worth of regular-season games left to be played, which means playoff scenarios are being played out.
One team looking to make it back into the playoffs for a third straight season is the Los Angeles Lakers. Thanks to the play of LeBron James and the Lakers landing Luka Doncic in a blockbuster trade earlier this season, Los Angeles is on-track to do just that.

Sitting at 49-31 overall, Los Angeles currently sits in third place in the Western Conference behind the Thunder and Rockets. With a win over the Mavericks on April 9, the Lakers clinched a playoff berth.
Los Angeles’ final two games come against Houston on Friday, and Portland on Sunday, April 13.
If the Lakers win one of their last two games, they will clinch the No. 3 seed. Los Angeles could still get anywhere between the No. 3 and No. 5 seed in the postseason, even though the third seed is most likely.
