A new Palworld update is set to arrive in the controversial game soon, and this time, it will include a collaboration with Terraria.
The crossover between Palworld and Terraria is one of the most anticipated this year. It was originally announced in November 2024; however, no further details were shared by Pocketpair – until now.
A post on Palworld’s official X account confirmed not just the release date, but also gave players a glimpse of what they can expect from Tides of Terraria with a new trailer. Here are all the details for this major update.

Tides of Terraria release day
The Palworld Tides of Terraria update is set to release on June 25, 2025. This means eager players will have to wait only a few more days before jumping into this new adventure.
As announced, this collab promises to change how the game is played, as it will add more Pals, a new Island, mechanics, and so much more content.

New monsters
While no new Pals have been revealed yet, it was confirmed (and shown on the trailer) that Terraria monsters will make their way into Palpagos Island, and players will be able to capture, train, work, and fight with them.

Several bats were seen on the video chasing the protagonist, while the very well-known boss, Eye of Cthulhu, also appeared.
The video closes with a quick glimpse at another key character from the Terraria universe: the Moon Lord.
Map expansion
The Tides of Terraria will also expand the game with new islands. No details have been shared as of the time of writing, but we will update this guide once Pocketpair makes an announcement.
What could be seen in the trailer is that the protagonist delved into an underground cave to obtain what appears to be a new key weapon (a glowing sword). This could mean that instead of a regular new island with Terraria monsters in it, players might get new territory based purely on Terraria’s world.

In December 2024, a teaser was posted by Pocketpair announcing that the Palworld x Terraria collab will feature a Meowmere sword.
On June 19, 2025, the first look at the Palworld x Terraria collab was shown with a Tides of Terraria animated trailer.
