Cardi B and NFL player Stefon Diggs have subtly fired back at breakup rumors by sharing a steamy workout video with their social media followers.
On Tuesday, July 8, Cardi B 32, reshared a workout video clip on X that featured her and Diggs, 31, working out together in the gym. The video, titled “Mental Reset,” was originally shared on Diggs’ YouTube account earlier on the day.
The footage, which features the NFL player standing near the “Bodak Yellow” rapper as she completes an upper body workout, suggests the couple is very much still together.
While neither Stefon Diggs nor Cardi B has directly commented on their relationship status, the post was likely a direct response to the rumors.
The drama all stemmed from a move made by Cardi B on Instagram over the Fourth of July weekend.
Diggs’ girlfriend, whom he had been seeing since earlier this year, sparked a firestorm when she wiped her Instagram clean of all traces of her NFL boyfriend, leading many followers to believe that the couple had split.
The workout video that has fans talking
At the beginning of the video clip, Diggs is lying on his back tossing a weighted ball around before moving onto a sideways walk on the treadmill.
“Anybody who knows me they know I work extremely hard,” Diggs said.
“If you don’t know me, you probably look at my Instagram and say I care about like fashion, and all I care about is this, that, and the third, but everybody who know me, it aint no confusion on how I got her and how much work I done put in to get to this point,” he continued, adding that, “you make time to get better.”
After he cooled off during a swimming workout in an indoor pool, Cardi B then joined Diggs in the gym for a steamy couples workout.
The sweaty Patriots wide receiver jumped right in to help Cardi B after she asked his trainer how a piece of workout equipment worked.
“What is that. It looks easy,” the rapper quipped.
She then immediately grabbed the weighted ropes, while Diggs held onto her waist as she showcased her own fitness skills.
The rapper was a natural at using the exercise equipment and quickly put a massive smile on Diggs’ face. His trainer even responded with an excited, “Yeahhh,” and a clapping ovation.
What fans are saying about the split rumors
After Cardi B shared the clip, several of her followers, however, continued questioning her relationship status with the NFL wid receiver.
“So what’s with the deleting his pictures and stuff,” one person commented.
“But I thought they broke up,” another person said.
“@grok have they broken up? Is this old footage,” a third person asked.
“OMG they are still together,” someone else added.
Cardi B shared a a second cryptic post on X that may or may not be directed to the rumors.
“Shut the f*** up,” the rapper qupped.
However, she still hasn’t public addressed the split rumors.
On a positive note, the couple still followed each other on Instagram as of Wednesday afternoon, and a source confirmed to “TMZ,” that the couple are “not officially broken up.”
