After growing the Beanstalk in the last update, we’ve spent plenty of time among the clouds. This led to the Giant seeking friendship with us, and as a reward, we now have access to a brand-new tab in the Beanstalk Shop. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you can find in the Friendship Shop in Grow a Garden and how to unlock it.
How to Unlock the Friendship Shop in Grow a Garden
The Friendship Shop is a part of the Beanstalk Shop, so to access it, players must grow the beanstalk first. Once done, walk up to the Goliath NPC at the top, and press the E key to interact with it. You then need to select the ‘What are you selling’ option to open the Goliath’s Goods shop. However, to access the Friendship tab, you must give the Goliath some food items.
Simply follow our Grow a Garden cooking recipes, prepare a high-rarity dish, hold it in your hand, and submit it to the Goliath. Each food rarity gives a different number of points toward filling the friendship meter. And as you upgrade the friendship level, more shop items will be available. Check the list below to see how many points each food item provides:
- Transcended: 9 Points
- Prismatic: 8 Points
- Divine: 7 Points
- Mythical: 6 Points
- Legendary: 5 Points
- Rare: 4 Points
- Uncommon: 3 Points
- Common: 2 Points
Once you have unlocked the shop, you can open it by clicking the ‘Friendship‘ tab from Goaliath’s Goods menu. Remember, you can restock items for both tabs by pressing the Restock button. However, to access the shop, you must grow the beanstalk first.
Friendship Level Points Requirement
To reach every new friendship level in the shop, you must know how many points are required. Here is the list of each level and its points:
- Level 1: 20 Points
- Level 2: 30 Points
- Level 3: 40 Points
- Level 4: 50 Points
- Level 5: 60 Points
- Level 6: 70 Points
- Level 7: 80 Points

Best Items to Get from the Friendship Shop
As you must have noticed above, a lot of Sheckles and fruits are required to grow the beanstalk, make food items for Goliath, or purchase items. So, you should have a clear idea of where you must be investing your hard-earned Sheckles in Grow a Garden.

- Gnome: The Gnome pet helps you get the Gnomed mutation. Every 9 minutes and 58 seconds, there’s a 1.03% chance for a random fruit to mutate with the Gnomed mutation. This chance increases by an additional 1.03% for each Gnome cosmetic placed in your garden.
- GiantBean Pet Shard: By using the Pet Shard GiantBean, you can give a pet the Giant Bean mutation. This will make the pet Gigantic, increasing hunger by 15%. However, it will also increase XP gain by 50 per second.
- Skyroot Chest: Some of the new Skyroot seeds and Beanstalk expansion update pets are part of this chest. So, if you want to be a collector, make sure to purchase the Skyroot Chest from the Friendship Shop.
