The Seattle Seahawks are playing in Super Bowl 60, but, regardless of the outcome, the team will have some major decisions to make this offseason with a litany of players hitting the open market.
While Tariq Woolen and Coby Bryant are some big names, the Seahawks are also going to be forced to make a big decision with Kenneth Walker III, their superstar running back.
Fortunately, in a piece from Kevin Patra of NFL.com, Walker shared thoughts on his looming free agency that are good news for Seahawks fans.

“I’ve been here for four years,” Walker said, “so you know I’ve gotten to know a lot of stuff about Seattle, and you know a lot of the city, and I feel like they feel good about me as well. So if it was my choice, though, I’d definitely stay.”
This comment from Walker on his looming free agency is some great news for the Seahawks. Not only does he like it in Seattle, but if he had a choice this offseason, it would be to return to the team.
With Zach Charbonnet dealing with a torn ACL, the team desperately needs a running back as Walker hits free agency.
Instead of taking a chance on an outside name, with someone like Travis Etienne Jr. or Breece Hall, the Seahawks should simply re-sign Walker.

He’s had a solid career with Seattle, putting up 3,555 yards and 29 touchdowns the last four years. This past season, he had 1,027 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
But in the playoffs, with Charbonnet out, Walker has taken on a larger role. Through two games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams, Walker has carried the ball 38 times for 178 yards and four touchdowns.
He’s also contributed as a receiver, catching all seven of his targets for 78 yards. In the Super Bowl, his receiving game might be a big factor for the Seahawks offense.
Retaining Walker is a must this offseason for Seattle, and based on his comments ahead of Super Bowl 60, Walker is more than interested in returning to the team this offseason. This is great news for the Seahawks, as Walker is a priority free agent, and he’s ready to re-sign.
