Death Stranding 2 On the Beach is coming to PC on March 19, 2026. DS2 is an outstanding game filled with Kojima’s trademark humor and style. The game builds on many aspects from Death Stranding, improving combat, and the visuals of the game look outstanding. However, with good visuals, there is always a worry that the game may not run on your system. Death Stranding 2 PC system requirements are finally out, so learn about them here and find out if your PC can handle it on launch.

Death Stranding 2 On the Beach Minimum PC System Requirements

Here’s a table that lists the minimum system requirements you need for your PC to install Death Stranding 2 On the Beach from Steam:

ComponentMinimum Requirements
OS Windows 10/11 Version 1909 or newer
Processor Inter core I3-10100, AMD Ryzen 3 3100
Memory 16 GB RAM
GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB
Storage 150 GB SSD

Here’s a table that lists the recommended system requirements you need for your PC to install Death Stranding 2 On the Beach from Steam for best performance:

ComponentRecommended Requirements
OS Windows 10/11 Version 1909 or newer
Processor Inter core I7-11700, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
Memory 16 GB RAM
GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, AMD Radeon RX 6800
Storage 150 GB SSD

Death Stranding 2’s minimum and recommended system requirements for PC appear fairly grounded. The game only requires an i3 10th-generation processor or equivalent, with a GTX 1660 to run at 1080p 30 FPS. This makes Death Stranding 2 one of the few AAA games that should be running on older PCs without much trouble.

The game also requires only 16 GB RAM for both minimum and recommended settings, which is again great news with the current ongoing RAM price crisis. The recommended settings are also not that high and are expected to run the game in 2k at 60 FPS. Overall, I am more than happy with the DS2 system requirements.

How Much Space Do You Need to Install Death Stranding 2 On the Beach?

Death Stranding 2 On the Beach clearly specifies 150 GB SSD storage in its system requirements. This means that you will need at least 150 GB of free space in your SSD to install the game when it releases. It is ironic to find the game size to be massive when the system requirements are fairly low. Generally, with a bigger size, the requirements also increase. Now, 150 GB is a huge ask even for a game of DS2’s scale. The game is around 90 GB on the PlayStation 5, so essentially doubling in size for the PC was not something I expected to see.

So, will your PC be able to run Death Stranding 2 On the Beach? Let us know in the comments below!
