Spain’s 26-man team is set to take on both royal and political ceremonies before going on an open-top bus parade through Madrid.

Spain’s celebrations for winning the 2026 World Cup will come under 24 hours after taking down Argentina.
Per Diario AS, Spain’s team departed from the United States overnight and were scheduled to land at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport around “midday” on Monday. After a period for the players, coaching staff, etc. to eat lunch and rest, they will embark on a multi-hour public schedule of celebrations.
First, the team will make a stop to the Palace of Zarzuela, visiting King Felipe VI and the royal family to receive a formal congratulations. Afterward, Spain’s squad will head to the Moncloa Palace to be greeted by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez with an official reception.
It’s after those royal and political ceremonies that Spain will take to the streets, set to celebrate with thousands of fans on an open-top bus parade with the World Cup trophy. The parade is set to begin at 7 p.m. local time in Madrid, which is 1 p.m. ET.

Per Diario AS, Spain’s parade will start at the Moncloa transport interchange, near the Moncloa Palace. From there, the bus will go down Calle Princesa, cut across to Alberto Aguilera, then move toward the Plaza de Colon.
The parade will pause at the Plaza de Colon, then make its final move down to the Plaza de Cibeles for the main ceremony, presenting the World Cup trophy to fans.
Around one million people are expected to be on the parade route on Monday, per Courthouse News Service.
