Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 includes several Easter eggs that can be discovered across the Battle Royale island during your matches.
The arrival of Doctor Doom in Fortnite for the Absolute Doom season has sparked a variety of Marvel-themed additions to the Battle Royale. From all the new and existing Marvel weapons, NPCs, three new points of interest, and the new skins and cosmetics in the Battle Pass, there have been plenty of additions.
However, with Doom taking over the island, there have also been an abundance of discrete Marvel Easter Eggs scattered around the map. It’s unclear whether these are potential hints at the upcoming plot or just a nod to Marvel fans. But they certainly raise a few questions.
Every Marvel Easter Egg
Doctor Doom’s reign was clearly evident on the first half of the Battle Royale island this season with the introduction of the three new points of interest Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft. This is where the majority of these Easter Eggs can be found.
Here are all the Marvel Easter Eggs on the Chapter 5 Season 4 map.
You have defeated Marvel characters in Castle Doom

Twelve different Marvel characters have been defeated by Doctor Doom in Fortnite and have been displayed around the Castle Doom POI as trophies. These are all featured below and are located in and around the castle’s throne room:
- The thing – The rocky remains of The Thing’s body were used as Doom’s Throne.
- Ultron – Ultron’s head is encased in a glass box.
- Sue Storm – The Invisible Woman sits behind a glass case with a plaque that reads “Sue.”
- Doctor Strange – Her Eye of Agamotto pendant rests securely on a red cushion.
- The Human Torch – His burning heart is placed on Doom’s fireplace mantel.
- Magneto of the Wastelander – A broken Magneto Wastelander helmet is locked away.
- Silver Surfer – The remains of the Silver Surfer’s surfboard are displayed in a glass box.
- Moon Knight – His Crescent Moon weapon rests on a red cushion.
- Thanos – Thanos’ broken helmet is mounted inside a glass display case.
Mr. Fantastic – His stretched body was transformed into a ball and placed in a glass box.
Mephisto is summoned
Demonic seals have appeared in the forge of Castle Doom.
The forge located atop the hill next to Castle Doom has been mysteriously emitting red and black smoke since arriving on the island. However, inside are some demonic-style symbols that suggest Doctor Doom is using it to attempt to summon the evil demon Mephisto.
Although Mephisto fought Doctor Doom in Marvel Comics, it’s not yet known why Doom would try to bring him back to life in Fortnite.
Iron Man’s Secret Basement

If you head to the top left corner of Doomstadt, you’ll find a house that doesn’t look too exciting from the outside. However, it does house a secret Iron Man basement and even has a small Iron Man helmet above the door as a clue.
Simply walk through the front door and break open one of the wooden bookcases immediately to your left. This will reveal a staircase leading down. Inside you’ll find a secret room filled with Iron Man merchandise galore, including rugs, lava lamps, posters, cardboard cutouts, a pool table, and more.
Marvel vs Capcom
Epic Games / Jugo MobileEpic Games has hinted at a return to classic Marvel vs Capcom games.
In Iron Man’s secret basement, you’ll find an old TV across from the couch that shows Iron Man in a classic fighting game. While there’s no direct reference to a specific game, Castle Doom’s NPC boss Doombot uses the iconic Foot Dive from the Marvel vs. Capcom games as his attack.
Gwenpool imprisoned
Epic Games / Jugo MobileGwenpool is safely held at the new point of interest The Raft.
It seems Doctor Doom didn’t just use The Raft to recruit supervillains and alien threats for his army after Gwenpool was found imprisoned at the POI.
Outside the prison, in the southeastern part of the POI, are some remains of destroyed buildings, which at first glance do not look very pretty. However, this is where Gwenpool is being held safely in a small room closed by a pink and white door.
If you head to the door, you’ll be able to interact with it and you’ll then start a dialogue with Gwenpool. She’ll give you the quest: “Retrieve an ID chip from a henchman and deliver it to Gwenpool.” After completing the secret quest, which shouldn’t take long, you’ll be rewarded with 15,000 XP.

Doctor Doom Bakery and Ice Cream
Doom’s Dough-Main Bakery and Victor Von Scoops ice cream distributor.
Doomstadt is home to Doom’s Dough-Main, a bakery located at the new Doomstadt POI. This is a reference to the Doom’s Domain POI from Chapter 2 Season 4, when Doom first arrived on the Fortnite island.
On top of that, you can now find a series of Victor Von Scoops ice cream freezers on the map filled with Doom’s ice cream. Both of these additions appear to be cosmetic changes only and should have no impact on the main story.
Doctor Doom’s Henchmen

Doctor Doom’s army of henchmen can be found all over the map this season, especially around the three new points of interest.
However, they have even been found in many random locations next to smaller POIs and landmarks when searching the island for particular artifacts. These include the vicinity of Grim Gate, Mount Olympus, the Underworld, and a small building northeast of the main Grand Glacier hotel.
It’s not yet clear what these artifacts are and why Doom is trying to find them. With more mid-season updates coming, it’ll be interesting to keep an eye on how these sites evolve and how they play into the main storyline of Chapter 5, Season 4.
Fantastic Four Monument

Just east of the Piney Pumps gas station, in the northwest corner of the island map, you’ll find the Fractured Four Monument. Here lies a large, shattered Fantastic Four sign, their famous logo, as if it had crashed directly from the group’s headquarters, the Baxter Building.
It seems to be the result of the Fantastic Four’s defeat at the hands of Doctor Doom, whose remains are on display as trophies inside Castle Doom. However, with Epic giving them their own landmark this season, this could further indicate that the leaked Fantastic Four collaboration is coming soon.
Galactus Head
A mysterious Galactus head in the ocean in the upper left corner of the map.
No matter where you are on the Battle Royale island this season, it’s hard to miss the gigantic head of Galactus located in the ocean in the top-left corner of the map. No explanation has been given as to why it’s there, but it could simply be a tease for the Galactus collaboration that was reportedly leaked and is coming in Chapter 5, Season 4.
