My Hero Academia fans are convinced they spotted The Boys’ Homelander in Season 7, Episode 16.
Last week’s episode of My Hero Academia Season 7 was incredible for so many reasons. From the polished animation to the stunning color palette, not to mention the return of beloved former villains Gentle Criminal and La Brava, it had a lot to offer.
Among so many great things, viewers were treated to an unlikely appearance from The Boys’ Homelander. In one of the ground scenes, Komori, aka Shemage, from Class 1-B, is seen staring ahead in horror. There are three other heroes in the background, including one with blonde hair, a blue suit, and an iconic red cape.
Judging by the appearance of the unknown character, viewers are convinced that it is Homelander, who has landed in another superhero world. The idea is quite funny, especially with the jokes that fans make about it.

“My brother spent 2 minutes in a world with real heroes and villains and realized he wasn’t cut out for it.” wrote an X user, commenting on the anonymous hero’s facial expression.
“My friend came over and did a solo of the verse, rewound it all for one and shit himself.” joked another.
“My brother realizes he’s not cut out for this and flies to America to drink milk.” joined a third on Reddit.
“Did Homelander get isekai-d by Truck-kun or something?” one fan added, referencing the commonly used isekai trope.

“He thought he could become the next number 1 hero in the MHA world. Now he regrets everything,” another mocked.
One user (sort of) defended Superman and commented: “To be fair, Homelander is still pretty strong. He’s probably stronger than 50% of the heroes in MHA. But what’s also true: even some college students would kick his ass. And against the best heroes or some members of the League of Villains? Homelander isn’t even close.”
It’s unclear whether or not this is Homelander. But the jokes are enough to give a clearer glimpse of what a potential My Hero Academia x The Boys crossover could look like in the future.
