It’s a good thing that The Las Vegas Raiders They didn’t recruit Brock Bowers to win a dance contest because they would have been in big trouble.
As usual, the Raiders held a dance competition at the end of practice Friday, and it pitted two rookies against each other: Bowers and 2024 fifth-round pick and linebacker Tommy Eichenberg.
Eichenberg wasn’t very good per se, but he was definitely more active with his legs. Bowers, on the other hand… I don’t really know what to say about the rookie tight end. Both players should seek lessons from another rookie, Dylan Laube, to be perfectly honest.

I don’t know what it was, but I can confirm it’s not good.
Bowers was bad in dance competitions, but he was the opposite on the football field. Bowers had 15 receptions for 156 yards in his first two games and broke all sorts of records, both NFL and franchise.
Meanwhile, Eichenberg has been quiet, only making his NFL debut last week. He didn’t record any stats in 21 special teams snaps and didn’t play defense.
Bowers and Eichenberg will look to put their dancing woes behind them when the Raiders host the Carolina Panthers — who play football as well as Bowers and Eichenberg dance — at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 22, with kickoff set for 4:05 p.m. ET. It will also be Las Vegas’ home opener.
