Since season 1, Bear has been one of the most watchable shows on television. It all started with a simple (but incredibly flattering) white t-shirt, and since then we’ve spotted all kinds of things that make us want to buy the series.
There’s that classic Original Beef t-shirt. and the misspelled original version of Berf, the Hedley & Bennett aprons we see Carmy and Syd wear when cooking, Coach K’s book that became Sydney’s inspiration in season 2, Carmy’s favorite olive oil and some delicious food straight from Chicago, just to name a few.
So, of course, it stands to reason that as Season 3 progressed on Hulu, a few things caught our eye, and it didn’t take long.
In season 3, episode 2, Gary “Sweeps” Woods (Corey Hendrix), who appeared in both seasons of Bear As a runner at the restaurant, he mentions that he’s going to “somm classes” (sommelier classes to learn more about wine (considering The Bear is a much better establishment than The Beef)) and, looking for inspiration, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) gives him a gift. a book.
“Wait a minute, is this a scratch and sniff book, bro?” Sweeps asks as Richie hands him the book. To which Richie responds: “Bite your tongue. “Betts is a fucking G.”
The children’s style board book. isin fact, a basic take on wine fundamentals, helping novices “discover the difference between a Syrah and a Sangiovese.”
At the end of the season, we even see the Fak kids reading the book as it should be read (scratching and sniffing, of course).
