The 2024 Copa América will see a special edition of the tournament in the United States, and Canada will be there to enjoy the party.
Les Rouges were one of the last teams to secure qualification, but they had to do it the hard way after beating Trinidad and Tobago in a CONCACAF Nations League playoff match in Texas on March 23.
The victory not only earned them a place alongside 10 teams from the CONMEBOL region of South America and five others from CONCACAF, but also secured them They will also open the tournament.
They will face defending champions Argentina and a possible showdown with Lionel Messi, when the competition begins on June 20.

The initial phase of the Copa América will have four groups of four teams each, with Canada was placed in Group A along with Argentina, Peru and Chile.

Canada possible qualifying schedule, matches and draw in the Copa América 2024
If Canada qualifies from the group stage, its quarterfinal match will be against one of the teams in Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela or Jamaica.
If they topped the group, that match would be in the NRG Stadium in Houston on Thursday, July 4 against the runner-up of Group B.
If they finish second, their match would take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Friday, July 5 against the winner of Group B.
In the case of advancing to the semifinals, regardless of the group classification, the match will be on Tuesday, July 9 at Metlife in East Rutherford.
The final will take place on Sunday, July 14 at the Hard Rock in Miami.
