In the era of pace and space, the 3-pointer reigns supreme in the NBA. As such, connecting from distance can be the ultimate difference-maker on any given night.

Some nights, teams get hotter than others.

In NBA history, only 11 teams have hit 27 or more 3-pointers in a game. On opening night of the 2024-25 season, the Celtics drained 17 3-pointers in the first half of their matchup with the Knicks, putting them on a fast track to make history.

With 12 more 3s in the second half, Boston tied a record set four seasons ago. Who did the Celtics join in the history books? Here is a look at the best team 3-point shooting performances in NBA history.
