In Rarity Miner, Lost Keys are needed to unlock Lockboxes that reward you with various resources and useful items. However, finding a Lost Key is a difficult task due to its limited availability and fixed spawn location, which is why I’ve put together this guide to help you find it in Rarity Miner.
How to Find Lost Keys in Rarity Miner

Lost keys can usually be found in caves at depths between 440 m and 1,000 mespecially in biomes of From basalt to tuff. There are usually three or four keys found in a cave, and they are relatively easy to spot in Rarity Miner. For example, I found one of the lost keys 700 meters below the surface.
It’s worth noting, however, that their spawn locations aren’t fixed, meaning you’ll encounter them randomly as you explore. Once you pick up a lost key, it’ll be added to your inventory, and the cave index will also be updated so you don’t have to remember its exact depth.
What is the lost key in Rarity Miner for?
As mentioned earlier, lost keys can unlock lost chests in Rarity Miners that contain useful rewards. Unfortunately, finding these chests is a difficult task, as they only appear in Gleam Cave. So far I haven’t gotten anything valuable from them, but I was lucky enough to get a Celestial from one of the chests. So it’s safe to assume that the rewards are random and the rarity you receive is purely a matter of luck.
To be honest, I don’t think it’s worth investing your precious time in searching for lost keys and chests. I recommend focusing on your usual farming techniques rather than relying on chests for rewards.
