Rawiyah is one of the best Breaker characters you can get in Sword of Convallaria, and while you’ll be able to try out her kit early in the RPG’s main quest, you’ll be able to unlock her for free afterward. However, this will require you to reach at least level 30 and complete various tasks as part of the Memento Journey event.
Luckily, these tasks are ones you’ll want to complete anyway, helping to level up your units and increase their power. So sooner or later, you’ll have your very own Rawiyah to build and take into battle, and she’s definitely worth the investment of your hard-earned XP. Without further ado, here’s our Convallaria Rawiyah’s Sword Team Composition and Build.
Best Convallaria Rawiyah Sword Build
Rawiyah’s passive trait, Bottoms Up, increases her DMG by 25% in Sword of Convallaria. At the start of a turn or during a riposte, there is an 80% chance to recover 40% of her HP and gain the Tipsy effect, which increases Rawiyah’s critical hits by 30% and reduces her DMG taken by 10%.
The best skills to select for a Rawiyah build in Sword of Convallaria are:
- Rank 1 – Co-Attack: For each ally within two tiles of Rawiyah, ATK is increased by 5%, up to 15%.
- Rank 3 – Another Pint!: Rawiyah recovers 60% of her lost HP and gains the Tipsy effect for two turns.
- Rank 5 – Fuck You!: When Rawiyah is hit by an active attack, she performs a counterattack, dealing 70% physical damage. If she has the Tipsy effect, she will push the target back two squares. This can be triggered once per turn.
- Rank 7 – Convallaria’s Sword: Leader’s Aura. For all Convallaria Sword allies in battle, increases their ATK by 10%, DEF by 20%, and DMG dealt by 8%. Also decreases DMG taken by 8%.
- Rank 9 – Dispelling Strike: Deals 100% physical damage and removes two buffs from the target.
- Rank 11 – Whirlwind Attack: Deals 50% area damage to all enemies within two tiles of Rawiyah. After dealing damage, decreases the target’s Physical DEF by 40% for two turns. Subsequent attacks deal an additional 50% area damage.
For your Rank 1 skill for Rawiyah, you can choose either skill based on your preference. While Toughness, which grants immunity to the effects of the Wounded and Dying statuses, is a good choice, Rawiyah is actually quite capable of healing herself using her trait and Rank 2 skill. Therefore, we are selecting Co-Attack for Rawiyah because we will get more benefit from it, as the skill allows us to improve the ATK of allies near Rawiyah.
Our Rank 3 skill will boost Rawiyah’s survivability and help her avoid getting injured or dying when she finds herself in a tight spot. The skill Another Pint! allows the unit to heal for 60% of their HP and gain the Medic effect, which increases their critical hits by 30% and reduces their damage taken by 10%.
You can, however, opt for the Piercing Strike skill if you wish, which allows Rawiyah to benefit from the Armor Pierce effect before dealing 130% DMG. This is a great single-target attack to use if you think you can do without the self-heal and guaranteed Stunned status, but we’ll be picking other NRG-consuming attacks later in Rawiyah’s skill tree.
Remember, if you don’t mind investing your Castalia into Rawiyah, which is well worth it, you can unlock both skills if you want. However, you can only have five skills equipped at a time in Sword of Convallaria, so keep that in mind before taking Rawiyah into battle.
Our Rank 5 ability is an easy choice, with “Fuck Off!” allowing Rawiyah to counter an opponent who hits her with an active attack. This attack will deal 70% physical damage and if Rawiyah is drunk, it will also knock her back two spaces. While this can only be triggered once per turn, Rawiyah’s ability to knock back characters can still be useful to protect her team from too much damage.
The alternate ability, Guardian’s Heart, works similarly but does not allow Rawiyah to push back her opponents, which is why we are not selecting it.
For Rank 7, we selected the Convallaria Sword Leader Aura skill because it will be very useful to our entire team, provided we bring other Convallaria Sword faction units with us (which we plan to do). This skill allows Rawiyah to buff all faction allies in battle, increasing their ATK by 10%, their DEF by 20%, their DMG dealt by 8%, and decreasing their DMG taken by 8%.
When selecting your Rank 9 ability, you can choose which one you prefer, as both attacks work similarly, dealing 100% physical damage with different secondary effects. Fatal Strike will buff Rawiyah’s critical by 15%, while Dispelling Strike can dispel two buffs from an enemy unit, which is valuable. Here, I recommend considering which units you plan to bring into battle with Rawiyah, and if you have a cleanser or buff debuffer, select Fatal Strike. If you don’t, opt for Dispelling Strike.
Last but not least, we chose the Whirlwind Attack as Rawiyah’s final skill. It’s an area of effect attack that affects all enemies within a two-square radius, and if used more than once in battle, it will deal double damage after the first use. That’s not all, as the attack also reduces the physical DEF of enemy targets it hits by 20%, so the rest of your units can finish them off quickly.
The alternative, Comrades’ Legacy, allows Rawiyah to resurrect a slain character with 30% of their HP, while also significantly buffing them for three turns. This is useful because it essentially gives us a second chance with one of our units if they are killed prematurely, but ultimately, you don’t want to rely on this skill being unnecessarily needed. Full-on Whirlwind Attack!
Rawiyah Team Composition
There are a few things to consider when building a team in Sword of Convallaria. The first is that for story content and other events, you may not need the same team every time. Different enemies and different maps will require different units on the field.
For example, if there are a lot of enemy breakers, you’ll need to bring seekers to counter them. Alternatively, you may need more physical attackers than magical attackers in some cases, or more than one ranged attacker to deal with the various barrels and vines on the map.
A good rule of thumb is to try to take at least one tank, one healer, and the necessary DPS units to the battle. If you can put together teams of units from the same factions for additional buffs, that’s even better, but it won’t always be possible.
That being said, Rawiyah is primarily a member of the Sword of Convallaria faction, but is also a member of the Iria and Alacrity factions. The Sword of Convallaria faction is comprised primarily of Legendary characters, making it quite difficult to build a full team. That said, you will receive Faycal, Maitha, and Rawiyah for free, which is a great start to a Sword of Convallaria team!
Maitha is a fantastic defender and Faycal is a great ranged attacker. With Rawiyah the Breaker, the team is already on the right track. If you have magical attackers like Beryl or a dedicated healer like Inanna, you’ll have an incredible team to use.
Alternative healers you can consider include Angel, another F2P character from the Papal States faction with a good range of useful healing skills. There’s also Nightingale and Flare who have healing skills in their kit that you can use, but Angel is arguably the best free healer in the game right now.
Other Sword of Convallaria units to consider are Seeker NonoWill and Destroyer Momo, as well as a slightly easier to reach epic character, Stormbreaker. Alternatively, if you plan on using Faycal, Maitha, and Rawiyah, you can bring two units from another faction. Miguel and Col pair well, as do Divine Grace and Blade, but you can opt for any unit you like to use that will help you counter the enemies on the field.

How to Unlock Rawiyah in Sword of Convallaria
If you’re looking for how to unlock Rawiyah as a character in Sword of Convallaria, luckily it doesn’t require any summoning and you can acquire her for free as you progress through the game.
To do this, you will need to complete various travel quests. These can be found in your main menu under the “Travel Memento” tab and consist of several phases, each with a set of progression-based challenges and a relatively interesting reward, such as a new character or free summons.
Once you’ve completed enough quests to complete Phase 5 of the challenge, which you’ll be able to do once you’ve progressed through Chapter 3 of The Fool’s Journey and reached at least level 30, you’ll be rewarded with Rawiyah as a playable character!
