Cooler Master is finally launching its shark-shaped PC, but its huge price tag will leave many people wishing they had a bigger wallet.
Cooler Master is no stranger to creating weird and expensive gaming PCs. The brand launched the Sneaker X, a shoe-shaped PC, in 2023 for a whopping $3,499.99. It was followed by the Sneaker X Bounce a year later.
Cooler Master has finally launched the Shark X, a giant shark-shaped gaming PC. Originally unveiled at CES 2023, the Shark X PC is finally available for a whopping $7,000.
The Shark X has been public for a while now. Cooler Master first revealed the fierce-looking PC at CES 2023, and then again at CES 2024.
There, observers got a glimpse of the massive mini-ITX-based PC, whose design was inspired by custom mods such as those featured in the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series in 2019.
“The Shark X is not just a high-performance PC, it is a masterpiece that unites art and technology, reflecting Cooler Master’s commitment to innovative design and engineering,” said Cooler Master CEO Jimmy Sha.

The Shark X’s design is truly eye-catching. The massive PC stands a total of one meter tall and can be stored upright thanks to its RGB stand. It also features customizable RGB lighting and a glowing shark fin.
Some internal parts of this eye-catching rig also include “strategic openings” in the chassis, so you can still see parts of your gaming rig, just like on a regular PC case.
But the PC, which the brand describes as a “work of art that transforms the space it occupies,” is not just about its looks. The case is based on a mini-ITX structure, which allows for easy upgrades.
For its whopping $7,000 price tag, you don’t just get the shark-shaped case. Cooler Master has a pre-build available on its site that includes an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super paired with an Intel Core i7-14700F processor bundled with the Windows 11 Home edition.
The pre-built Shark X also comes with the brand’s custom Masterliquid liquid cooling, Sickleflow 120 fans, 64GB of DDR5-600 RAM, and a 2TB SSD.
