Minecraft’s next update is all about Copper, adding in the highly anticipated Copper Golem, and officially adding Copper tools and armor as an equipment tier, making them extremely useful to have on you.
There’s so much to consider in Minecraft now. Whether you’re grabbing certain new blocks for your house, protecting your seed with Iron Golems, sorting chests with the new Copper Golem, or just recruiting your own personal army of dogs (with protective armor, of course), you’ll need tons of equipment and items.

Getting hold of these items requires tools, armor, and a chest to store them all in. After all, if you’re heading into caves, you need to protect yourself from the monsters that lurk below. How to make all Copper tools & armor
Copper tools and armor are pretty easy to make, as they just follow the same recipe format as any other tool, be that Wood, Gold, Iron, Diamond, or Netherite.

How to make a Copper Chest
Copper chests are the newest block to be added to Minecraft, alongside the tools and armor. Thankfully, there are two ways for you to get a Copper Chest.
Summon a Copper Golem
Perhaps the easiest and cutest way to get a Copper Chest is to summon a Copper Golem. When they’re created, they drop a Copper Chest for free, and it only costs you one copper block.

To make it better, they’ll also sort your items for you. Simply place it all in the Copper Chest, and it’ll sort them into the normal chests around your base.

Craft a Copper Chest
A little more standard, and arguably cheaper, you can craft a Copper Chest. This requires eight Copper Ingots and a Chest.
Simply surround the normal Chest with Copper Ingots in a crafting table, and you’ll create the Chest you’re looking for.

How strong are Copper tools?
Copper tools sit just between Stone and Iron in the equipment tier, especially in terms of durability, meaning it’s stronger than Stone, but weaker than Iron.
On top of this, it’ll be quicker than Stone, but won’t let you mine any additional materials like Iron, so think of it as the perfect tool to help you hunt for Iron, given the fact that Copper is much more abundant than its higher-tier counterpart.

Essentially, Copper is a perfect early-game material for your tools and armor. It’s ideal for helping you get Iron, but won’t help you beat the Ender Dragon, unless you’re a lot more skilled in combat.
