How to get help from the robotic bird in Astro Bot
For those who are lost and ignorant, Astro Bot has a nifty feature that allows you to get help in finding all the collectibles, such as robots, puzzle pieces, and many other secrets in the game. But note that this useful feature is only available when you replay a level that you have completed once. Follow the steps below to learn how to find all the secrets in Astro Bot.
- First, head to any planet you’ve played on once before and enter its realm.
- As soon as you set foot on a planet, you will see a small glass birdhouse which requires 200 pieces break.
- After breaking the glass, press the square button pull the wire to free the bird.
- The bird will now follow you throughout your journey on the planet in question.
- When you approach a secret, such as robots or puzzle pieces, the bird will indicate this location to you using a light radar in its antenna.
- This way you can replay any level and find all the robots and secrets you missed the first time.
Indeed, it was a brilliant move by the ASOBI team to include this useful feature in the game. As I mentioned earlier in my Astro Bot review, this is an amazing feature to encourage players to explore naturally with slight assistance.
