English second division football fans are already enjoying this season with the 2024/25 EFL Championship.
Once again, competition is fierce for possible promotion to the Premier League, with two automatic places and a playoff spot up for grabs over the 3 weeks from 10 August to 3 May.
Each participating team must complete a 46-game season, as Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United all return to the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League in 2023-24. All teams combined will contest the EFL Cup with the previous season’s champions, Liverpool.
