Thomas Tuchel’s England are back in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification action with a home clash against Andorra on September 6.

The Three Lions are already halfway through their qualifying campaign with three wins from three games under the former Bayern Munich boss.

Only top spot in Group K will be enough to secure an automatic place at the tournament next summer and England are currently four points above second-place Albania with a game in hand.

Tuchel is missing several key players due to injury for this camp, but he will be confident of a Villa Park victory over minnows Andorra before a tricky to Serbia on September 9.

England vs. Andorra lineups: Predicted starting XI, team news, rosters

Tuchel’s injury absentee list includes Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham and Cole Palmer with Jack Grealish and Trent Alexander-Arnold overlooked this time.

Captain Harry Kane will lead the England attack on the back of scoring in all three qualifiers in March and June.

Reece James and Myles Lewis-Skelly could get the nod in the full-back slots with rotations expected elsewhere to keep certain players fresh for the trip to Belgrade.

Elliot Anderson will hope to make his debut, while Djed Spence could become the first openly Muslim player to represent the Three Lions.

England predicted lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Pickford (GK) — James, Stones, Guehi, Lewis-Skelly — Henderson, Anderson, Gibbs-White — Eze, Kane, Bowen

England full roster

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, James Trafford, Dean Henderson

Defenders: John Stones, Marc Guehi, Reece James, Ezri Konza, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Dan Burn, Tino Livramento, Jarell Quansah, Djed Spence

Andorra have lost all four of their 2026 qualifiers but made life very difficult for England in a tight 1-0 home defeat in June.

Kane’s goal saved Tuchel’s charges from embarrassment in Barcelona and head coach Koldo Alvarez will go with a largely unchanged team.

Andorra predicted starting lineup (5-4-1, right to left): Alvarez (GK) — Borra, Llovera, M. Garcia, Olivera, San Nicolas — Cervos, Babot, E. Vales, Rebes  — R. Fernandez
