EA FC 26 is receiving special attention on PC after a pretty dismal port in FC 25. Last year’s game brought all sorts of issues for PC players, ranging from inconsistent performance to buggy visuals. Things got so bad that players on the lower end of the hardware spectrum had to seek out a troublemaking .ini file and delete it before every startup. Thankfully, EA have made it clear that the PC version is getting extra care this year, and they’ve also released its requirements. On that note, here are the FC 26 PC requirements.

EA FC 26 Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit, latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600k or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti or AMD RX 570 (4 GB VRAM)
  • Storage: 100 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Graphics Preset: 720p, 60 FPS gameplay, Low Settings

FC 26’s minimum PC requirements are identical to EA FC 25, which should bode well for the game’s performance. The venerable GTX 1050 Ti continues to be a sustainable EA FC card, albeit at 720p. While the official requirements mention 100 GB of storage space, the actual file size will likely be around 55 GB.

  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit, latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 or AMD RX 5600 XT (6 GB VRAM)
  • Storage: 100 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Graphics Preset: 1080p, 60 FPS gameplay, Medium Settings

To get smooth gameplay at decent visual settings, you’ll need a GTX 1660 or the AMD RX 5600 XT. Both cards fall into the lower mid-range, so these requirements aren’t all that taxing. With that said, we recommend having at least 16 GB of RAM despite the listing in the official requirements.

Besides their typical optimization, EA are adding a variety of customizable graphics options to the PC version. This allows players to fine-tune their settings and even apply Dynamic Resolution Scaling techniques, which can now be locked to a specific framerate target. The devs have finally added Dualsense support for FC 26’s PC version as well, meaning you’ll be able to enjoy haptics and adaptive triggers if you’re controller is connected via USB.

And that wraps up our guide on the EA FC 26 PC requirements. Which game mode are you most excited to try out? Let us know in the comments.
