The United States never left any doubt in their quarterfinal victory over Brazil.

From now on, the Paris 2024 Olympics are about winning or going home, and Team USA played with that level of urgency in the first round of the knockout stage on Tuesday. It continued its undefeated summer with a decisive 35-point victory over Brazil, 122-87.

The U.S. had too much offense for Brazil to handle. Six different players scored in double figures, led by Devin Booker’s 18 points and Anthony Edwards’ late-game burst of 17 points. LeBron James was in surgery for only three quarters, and he had 12 points and nine assists before leaving the game with an eye injury.
