These Sprite variants seem to be imbued with dark powers akin to those of Kevin the Cube. While they are not exactly pulsating with energy, they do look powerful. Fortnite Cube Sprites Release Date Revealed
As per the list of upcoming Fortnite Sprite Events, the Fortnite Cube Sprites release date is set for July 16, 2026. This aligns with the fact that Epic Games revealed the Batman Cube Sprite variant in the Hot Bat Summer Event teaser.
However, do keep in mind that the upcoming “New Sprite Day” only features the Air Sprite and Batman Sprite. As such, if not this week, Cube Sprites could release on either July 23 or July 30, 2026.

In total, there will be 18 Fortnite Cube Sprites for you to collect. We’ll likely only see a few variants released at a time to avoid overcrowding. As always, you can trade Sprites in Fortnite to complete your collection to save time.
Speaking of collecting, Cube Sprites should be obtainable via Sprite Chests. When available, Golden Fishing Spots are also a useful method. If all else fails, look for a player who has a Cube Sprite and eliminate them.
What Can Fortnite Cube Sprites Do?
While we have a timeline for the Fortnite Cube Sprites release date, we have no idea what they do. We know they are related to Kevin the Cube in some way, but other than that, they’re a complete mystery. Let’s just hope they offer a better bonus than Holofoil Sprites.
That said, Fortnite Cube Sprites could do something cool, such as extending the duration of the Shock Rock effect. This would be useful for mobility and rotation. They could perhaps also grant the Shock Rock effect every time they level up.
