Hosts Germany take on Denmark looking to book their place in the quarter-finals and keep alive their dream of lifting a major trophy on home soil.
Both teams go into the knockout stage unbeaten, although unlike the Germans, who scored five goals against Scotland in their first game, finding the goal has been a concern for Denmark so far.
The only previous tie between these two nations came in the Euro 1992 final, which Denmark won 2-0. Let’s see how today’s game plays out with a lot at stake once again.
Jugo Mobile is following the Germany vs. Denmark match live, providing score updates, commentary and highlights as they happen.

Germany vs Denmark live updates, Euro 2024 highlights
24 minutes: Denmark seems to have overcome the initial storm and has had more possession of the ball in the last five or ten minutes. There were four red shirts in the area, but Maehle tries an audacious shot from a tight angle that goes wide.
21 minutes: Eriksen’s touch is exquisite to beat Rudiger, but the German defender recovers well and blocks.
16 minutes: Kroos’ free kick hits the wall.
13 minutes: Musiala’s trick goes past two Danish defenders, but his shot goes wide.
11 minutes: Andrich heads the ball and is completely unmarked, but the ball finds the goalkeeper’s hands. He should have done better.
10 minutes: Rudiger’s long pass finds Havertz, who attempts a Robin Van Persie-style volley, but Schmeichel deflects it into the corner.
7 minutes: Kimmich shoots from distance, but Schmeichel saves well.
5 minutes: Replays showed that Kimmich blocked Olsen who was marking Schlotterbeck and that is why the referee called the foul.
3 minutes: Germany receives the ball in the back of the net, but it is disallowed for offside. Schlotterback heads, but Michael Oliver sees a foul inside the area.
1 minute: We start in Dortmund!
5 minutes to start: The national anthems are complete and kick-off is as follows…
15 minutes to start: There are three Borussia Dortmund players in the German national team who will take to the field at their club’s stadium, but only one of them, Nico Schlotterbeck, is in the starting eleven. We’ll probably see Nicolas Fullkrug come off the bench in the second half, while Emre Can’s appearance as a substitute would probably mean Germany are winning the match.

30 minutes to start: Danish duo Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen play both at club and international level, but they will have a treat waiting for them when they return to Old Trafford for the upcoming Premier League season. Dutch legend Ruud van Nistelrooy looks set to join Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff as an assistant.
Hojlund is already a starter at international level and appears to have improved during his time at the English club, but could he be the man to take the young Danish striker to the next level? Germany may be happy to face Denmark before Hojlund joins the Dutch coach, rather than after.
?? Exclusive story confirmed: Man United will add Go Ahead Eagles’ Ruud van Nistelrooy and René Hake to their new support staff.
Erik ten Hag will sign a new contract in the next few days, all agreed and 100% done as revealed earlier this week. ✍?

45 minutes to start: He is in his swan song, but Toni Kroos seems to have much more left in the tank. Kroos has been a passing wizard throughout his career, but this summer he has even taken it up a notch, completing the most passes by a single player in an entire European Championship group stage in the history of the competition, surpassing his own record from 2016.
324 – Most successful passes by a player in a UEFA EURO group stage:
324 – Toni Kroos (EURO 2024)
323 – Toni Kroos (EURO 2016)
317 – Xavi (EURO 2012)
281 – Granit Xhaka (Euro 2016)
280 – Toni Kroos (EURO 2020)Cruise. pic.twitter.com/zoAbqYSIWJ

1 hour to start: The line-ups are in and amid reports that Kai Havertz would be dropped in favour of Nicolas Fullkrug, the Arsenal man remains in the XI! Instead, it is Florian Wirtz who surprisingly drops out of the line-up with the addition of Leroy Sane, while David Raum takes over at left-back and Nico Schlotterbeck slots in at centre-back in place of the suspended Jonathan Tah.
The only downside for Denmark is the inclusion of Andreas Olsen alongside Christian Eriksen behind striker Rasmus Hojlund, with Kasper Dolberg sacrificed.
1 hour 30 minutes to start: The big question facing Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann today is whether to keep Kai Havertz up front or replace him with Nicolas Fullkrug. There has been talk of letting Havertz go, especially given Fullkrug’s form, but Nagelsmann has hinted that he is happy with the Arsenal man up front in the role he has been asked to play.
“Kai comes out much worse in the public evaluation,” the German coach said before today’s game. “He has a clear job in many games, which means that he does not have many actions with the ball because he should create spaces for others. He did it exceptionally well. In the internal evaluation, Kai is valued much higher than in the public evaluation” .
News from Germany today
– Antonio Rüdiger should be fit to play
– Nico Schlotterbeck will replace the suspended Jonathan Tah
– The trend is for Schlotterbeck’s BVB teammate Niclas Füllkrug to start the game with Kai Havertz on the bench.#GERDEN-Derek Rae (@RaeComm) June 29, 2024
