Valve-developed MOBA shooter Deadlock has already surpassed its potential. I recently tried Deadlock, and it brought back my Dota 2 memories in a positive way. That said, since Deadlock is still in early development, some features are locked in the game. In Deadlock, you can only play matches in your region during a certain window. Once the time is up, you have to wait until the next day. Well, no more waiting if you are addicted to the game. All server region console commands
Unlike CS2 or Dota 2, there is no dedicated option to change servers in Deadlock yet. To change the server region in Deadlock, you will currently have to use console commands. There are a total of six console commands, including one for automatic mode, to change regions.
You can Choose between North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania servers from the console. Here are the Deadlock console commands for all server regions in the game right now:
- Automatic:citadel_region_override -1
- North America:citadel_region_override 0
- Europe:citadel_region_override 1
- Asia:citadel_region_override 2
- South America:citadel_region_override 3
- Oceania:citadel_region_override 5
How to change server region when blocked
Now that you know the command, here is the step-by-step process you need to follow to change the server region in Deadlock:
- Press F7 on your keyboard to open the developer console or control panel.
- Copy the console command of the desired server region and paste it into the console.
- Then press Enter on your keyboard, and the server will change immediately.
Once you switch servers, matchmaking will be open again, allowing you to play Deadlock to your heart’s content. However, be aware that you may experience hit registration and rubber-banding issues on other servers due to ping spikes at certain times.
You can also use the server switching option to play with friends who live in different regions. However, if you set it to “automatic”, the best server region will always be selected for better ping. You can bypass the matchmaking timer by switching to a different region.
