While Barcelona pulled off a stunning 4-3 comeback win over Celta Vigo, the scenes on the touchline raised a few eyebrows — especially those involving Ansu Fati.
The young winger, once hailed as Messi’s heir, found himself warming up with hope, only to sit down without playing a single minute.
What followed was frustration in full display: Fati threw off his bib, kicked a water cooler, then struck the stairs in anger as he made his way back to the bench.
Not the kind of footwork Barcelona fans were hoping to see from him.

What Hansi Flick said about Ansu Fati’s furious reaction?
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick didn’t dodge the issue. Speaking in his press conference on Monday, he addressed both Fati’s reaction and that of Hector Fort, another youngster left disappointed on the bench.
“I understand they’re disappointed,” Flick said, “but I don’t understand their reactions. I want to see the right reaction on the pitch when they get their chance to play… not after a match we’ve won.”

Fati’s outburst came after weeks of limited minutes. So far this season, he has played just 125 minutes in La Liga, with only one start.
Once Barcelona’s golden boy, Fati has struggled to break back into the team after his return from Brighton and a series of injuries.
Fort, meanwhile, reportedly ignored Flick’s post-match explanation and headed straight to the dressing room.
Despite the drama, Flick seemed open to giving both players another chance. With Robert Lewandowski sidelined and a heavy match schedule ahead, squad depth will be vital.
That could offer a window for Fati to prove he can still dance on the big stage — without kicking anything off it.
