James was much more assertive in this game, but still couldn’t get into a rhythm offensively. His eight points are the most he’s scored since summer action began, but he was 3-of-14 from the field and an especially harrowing 0-of-8 from three-point range.
On defense, James has once again made his presence felt. With his lateral quickness and size, he has demonstrated his ability to be a disruptor on defense.
The Lakers are yet to post a win this summer, but they will be back in action in two days.

He showed off his athleticism later in the first quarter. A smart cut led to a one-handed dunk assisted by fellow rookie Dalton Knecht.
