Kevin Durant was in top form in his debut at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The 35-year-old forward had missed all five of Team USA’s exhibition games due to injury, but returned to the court on Sunday, July 28. It was the team’s first group stage game, in which they faced Nikola Jokic and Serbia.
Durant scored a game-high 23 points in a 110-84 win over Serbia. He was perfect from the field in the first half, scoring 21 points at the break. His second half was much quieter as the U.S. came away with the win.
The two-time NBA champion has never scored more than 20 points on perfect shooting in a half in his NBA career.
