Defence remains the biggest concern for Spurs, with long-standing absentees Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies set to potentially be joined by Radu Dragusin. The centre-back was forced off during the Boxing Day loss to Forest with an ankle issue, with Postecoglou admitting “we’ll have to wait and see” if he will be able to feature at home to Wolves.
First-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario remains out for some time to come with an ankle injury of his own, furthering the London side’s frailties at the back.
