A traditional Serie A season is played in a round-robin format, with all 20 teams playing each other both home and away.
This means that each club has 19 possible opponents and plays each of them twice, which adds up to a total of 38 games in a season. If we multiply that result by all 20 clubs before piding by two to account for the duplicate rosters of both clubs, we get: 380 matches in total per season.
