Kimi Antonelli’s dominance has captivated the masses of Formula One enthusiasts in recent months. On Sunday, he added more fodder for them to sit with.

The 19-year-old Italian claimed a momentous win at the Miami Grand Prix, inching beyond Lando Norris in the race’s waning moments.

Norris huffed and puffed, jostling back and forth with the gifted teenager. Ultimately, the race was decided on pit road; Antonelli overtook the McLaren standout during pit stops, surging his gleaming chariot to the front for Mercedes. With his conquest, Antonelli extended his winning streak to three. It doesn’t look likely to end any time soon, either.

Here is how the race played out.

F1 Miami Grand Prix results

Kimi Antonelli took home the crown in Vice City, outgunning Lando Norris to claim his third-straight win in as many grand prix races.

The 19-year-old has been on a tear befitting of a racer two times his age. With his win on Sunday, he put his name up in lights — and the record book. Earlier in the weekend, Antonelli became the first driver to take poles in three consecutive races since Ayrton Senna. With his conquest in Miami, he became the third driver to clam three straight races.
