The Knicks have been as active as any team in 2024 NBA free agency as they look to maximize their championship window.
New York made one of the biggest moves of the offseason when it acquired star forward Mikal Bridges, reuniting the former Villanova product with college teammates Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo on the “Nova Knicks.”
Knicks management didn’t stop there, signing OG Anunoby to a five-year contract extension to retain another elite forward. Those two transactions made it increasingly difficult to bring back starting center Isaiah Hartenstein, who ended up signing a three-year, $87 million deal with the Thunder.
While all this movement was happening, Knicks goofball (or rather, forward) Hart was chronicling New York’s entire offseason from his X account.

Unsurprisingly, Hart was ecstatic when he found out New York made a trade to get Bridges and secure the final Infinity Stone to complete the Nova Knicks.

After brushing off Heat star Bam Adebayo’s tampering accusation, Villanova’s four national champions connected on FaceTime to celebrate the moment.

The next day, Hart congratulated “Money Man” Anunoby on his five-year, $212.5 million contract, calling him and Bridges “demons in the wings.”

On the first day of free agency, Hart was like the rest of NBA fans hoping for some big action at the season opener at 6 p.m. ET. Now that tampering is more strictly enforced, newsmakers didn’t have blockbuster signings in the early goings like they have in the past.
