It is not known why Donovan has this hairstyle, but many people believe it is simply due to hair loss. The former American soccer star has had hair loss for years, and this could be the next stage of hair loss for the 42-year-old.
The broadcast did not show a full view of the back of Donovan’s head, so it is unclear if he is missing more hair elsewhere. Regardless, this spotty appearance was enough to cause a stir on social media on Monday.
