Rather than simply tagging each other in the photo, James and Curry collaborated on a post with a caption that read, “Same team… Winning team.”
Curry appears to be the one who originally invited James to collaborate. As the post’s blurb shows, James accepted the invitation, but the caption including “Same team” naturally raises eyebrows.
It is worth noting that the two men had just completed a week as teammates and had won gold together. The legend is true to the facts and could be a look back and not an omen.
That said, the photos also feature Kevin Durant, who, at the time of writing, is not a collaborator.
Perhaps the reason for the choice is that Durant’s Instagram activity volume is very different from that of Curry and James. Or maybe it’s because Durant and Curry were once teammates and there’s no need to collaborate on Instagram?
No matter where you land, the speculation won’t stop anytime soon.
