League of Legends developers Riot have announced the arrival of the Player Days event, celebrating the journeys of players around the world. Here’s what we know about it, including the start date and more.
League of Legends’ 15th anniversary is just around the corner. After a decade and a half of MOBAs, developers and players are celebrating how far they’ve come together. From the ups and downs of champion releases, events, and more, to terrible metas and balance issues, dedicated players have seen it all.
To commemorate the event, Riot is presenting LoL Players Daysa series of days that will celebrate both in and out of the game. If you’re looking to see what’s happening for League’s 15th anniversary, here’s everything you need to know.
LoL Player Days Event Start Date
The players’ days will begin on October 9, 2024While the main celebration lasts for three days, players will have until October 28, 2024 to collect all the gifts they want during the event.
LoL Player Days Event Content
Player Days features both League of Legends and non-League content. For the most part, the event’s content is non-League, with three themed days as the highlight. These days are: Creative Day on October 9th, Music Day on October 10and end the event with Esports Day on October 10th.

Over the days, different skins highlighting these themes will be available for purchase in the store, including the highly anticipated K/DA Gragas.
LoL Player Days Event Rewards
For in-game events, Riot will be giving away a number of gifts to celebrate the event. Starting October 8, players will be able to claim 10 days of different rewards, including Mythic Essence, Icons, and even the Sivir Mythic Anniversary skin.
Riot Games players will be able to earn exclusive icons, Mythic Essence, and even skins with the Player Days event.
Luckily, you won’t need to play every day to get the rewards, as you can accumulate them over the days and then play multiple games in a row to get what you want. You’ll still need to play a total of 10 games to get all the event rewards, but you’ll have until October 28 to do so.
