Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain have continued their dominant form in 2025.
The already-crowned Ligue 1 champions are gearing up to face Arsenal in a crunch UEFA Champions League semifinal and they have set a new record ahead of taking on Mikel Arteta’s side.
PSG stretched their unbeaten away run to 39 games via a dramatic 1-1 draw at Nantes on April 23, shattering AC Milan’s 33-year-old European record.
The match at Stade de la Beaujoire saw PSG dominate possession but struggle to capitalize before Vitinha finally broke the deadlock.
Relegation-battling Nantes eventually clawed their way back into the game, to seal a draw, but PSG’s record remains intact.
The final result might not have gone PSG’s way, but they have now surpassed the legendary Milan teams of Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello, who went 38 away league games unbeaten between 1991 and 1993.

The Parisians have now not tasted defeat on the road since February 2023 when AS Monaco beat them 3-1.

The Spanish manager couldn’t hide his delight at full-time, “We should be happy to break this incredible Milan record. It’s very difficult to achieve it because you have to play very consistently across seasons,” Enrique said.
However, the former Barcelona manager was quick to identify room for improvement ahead of their key battle with Arsenal.
“We made some mistakes, and Nantes took advantage of them to score.”
PSG are now just four matches away from becoming the first team in Ligue 1 history to complete an entire season undefeated and more records could come their way as they bid for a first-ever UCL title.
Their first leg against Arsenal is scheduled for April 29 in North London, followed by the return fixture in Paris on May 7, and a unprecedented quadruple is potentially on for PSG.
The club have already secured the Ligue 1 title and the Trophée des Champions ahead of facing Reims in the French Cup final on May 24.
