If you’ve had the misfortune of spending hours in EA FC Ultimate Team, then you’ve almost certainly come across the Griddy. This dance move celebration has its roots in American Football, but it eventually migrated to other sports and established a foothold in the world’s game. The move’s creator, Allen Davis, then signed a licensing deal with EA Sports, bringing the celebration to their soccer-sim. And it didn’t take long for the Griddy to become the most toxic celebration in EA FC. Given its unique status, the devs have tweaked how the celebration is used in FC 26. So, we’ve put together a guide detailing exactly how to do the Griddy in EA FC 26.
How to Get the Griddy in FC 26
Right off the bat, it’s important to know that the Griddy celebration will not be available by default in FC 26. Naturally, this means that it cannot be performed by simply using the same button inputs as in EA FC 25. This is because EA have turned the Griddy into a separate item that can only be obtained by completing the ‘Griddy to Glory Daily Completionist’ Objective in FC 25.
The objective revolves around the ‘Griddy to Glory’ Cup that will remain active until September 9. During the cup’s duration, you’ll need to put together a squad using only Rare Gold players and complete either of these two challenges a total of five times:
- Win 3 matches in Griddy to Glory Cup
- Play 6 matches in Griddy to Glory Cup
After fulfilling the requirements, make sure to use the same account while logging in to FC 26 to receive your item. From the looks of it, the celebration will be a Stadium item that you’ll need to select manually and can be performed by pressing the X button on PlayStation or the A button on Xbox.
