The Professional Fighters League heads to Salt Lake City for one of the final stops of the regular season. The lightweights and light heavyweights are in action at PFL 5. The action is broadcast on ESPN+ in the US and DAZN in the UK
The main event will be a lightweight clash between Clay Collard and Mads Burnell. Collard, also a boxer, was last year’s runner-up in the lightweight tournament. “Cassius” defeated Patricky Freire, former Bellator champion, to reach the top of the rankings.
Burnell is a former Cage Warriors featherweight champion who went 5-2 under the Bellator banner. He’s looking for a big rebounding win after losing his PFL debut.
Impa Kasanganay looks to repeat as PFL Light Heavyweight Champion and tournament winner in the co-main event. The PFL Challenger Series standout won his last fight via technical knockout. She faces Jakob Nedoh, the former PFL Europe tournament winner who had an eight-game winning streak snapped in April when he joined the PFL’s American tournament.

“I’m grateful to be able to fight him (Nedoh), a powerful puncher,” Kasanganay said. Sports Illustrated. “He’s on his way to the PFL regular season, to the global team. He dominated in Europe and I’m looking forward to this finish. That’s the focus.”
Also on the card will be Freire, former PFL champions Rob Wilkinson and Sadibou Sy, and former Bellator champion Brent Primus.

2024 PFL 5 tickets
The fifth event of the 2024 PFL season takes place at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the University of Utah, the stadium seats 16,000.
