One key factor that draws players back to Roblox is the steady stream of events, such as the Hatch, the Hunt, and more. At RDC 2025, Roblox officially revealed its next big event, the Takeover, complete with its release date and schedule. What Is Roblox the Takeover Event?
Before we jump to the schedule, let us talk about the Takeover event. According to the early looks of the banner and games involved, it seems to be a graffiti-themed event. Roblox shared the reveal trailer at the Roblox Developers Conference 2025. In this video, we can hear hip-hop music with the visuals of some Roblox characters painting a wall of graffiti.
Multiple achievements and badges for the Roblox Takeover event have been revealed early. As per the revelations, participating games will have four quests: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Super Hard. Each quest will give a badge of honor, and there is a chance of free rewards attached to them.

Roblox the Takeover Schedule: Start Date and Time
The Takeover event on Roblox kicks off on September 11, 2025, at 10:00 PM PT. The event will run for almost 15 days, ending on September 26, 2025.
The event will be live across PC, console, mobile, and even VR devices, even if the game supports the specific platform. However, the fun won’t be spread across the entire platform; only select games are taking part. So, which games will get the invitation? Let’s take a look.
