Following the X-Men leader, Jubilee is joining the Marvel Rivals hero roster in Season 9. The firecracker is revealed to be the new Strategist in the game. As expected, Jubilee’s kit is themed after her fireworks. Thus, players can use her Lumikinetic Explosive Light Blasts to heal allies and knock down opponents simultaneously. With a unique kit, Jubilee is all set to become one of the best Strategists in Marvel Rivals.

In case you haven’t heard, NetEase Games has completely reworked Black Widow‘s character and all the team-up abilities in the game. Thus, we are about to experience a new version of Marvel Rivals in Season 9. With the new season’s arrival, the Faith-Harvesting Engine battle pass is getting added to the game.

If you are wondering what new events will be available at launch, devs have revealed the Death of Apocalypse and The Resurrection of Horsemen events, which will possibly offer free Units and free Marvel Rivals skins. Speaking of skins, Jubilee’s Midnight Mutant, Rogue’s Raider Prime, and Wolverine’s Horsemen of Death costumes are coming to stores in Season 9. Lastly, Shogo Tote, a new accessory for Devil Dinosaur, is also being added to the game.

In addition, Gambit’s Horsemen of Death, Hawkeye’s Van Dyne Designs, and Devil Dinosaur‘s Jeff the Dinosaur skins are headed to the store.

On the same day, Hela’s Temple Protectors and Psylocke’s Horsemen of Death exclusive skins will be available in the in-game store.

Since Spider-Man: Brand New Day is releasing on July 31, 2026, NetEase Games is adding brand-new skins for Spider-Man and Hulk based on the upcoming movie. Moreover, Scarlet Witch and Winter Soldier are also getting new skins inspired by their outfits in the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie.

August 7 – Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 Release

Across the tournaments in 1970 and 1986, England have played nine World Cup matches in Mexico.

Their overall record reads four wins, one draw, and four defeats.

1970 World Cup: Collapse vs. West Germany

England’s preparations as defending champions were disrupted before they even arrived in Mexico for their 1970 quarterfinal, when World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore was arrested on suspicion of stealing a bracelet from a jewellery shop in a Bogota hotel.

England were in Colombia for a pre-tournament friendly that they won 4-0. They then went on to beat Ecuador 2-0 in Quito and, when they returned to the same hotel before taking a connecting flight to Mexico, Moore was detained by Colombian police.

He was later released without charge, although the incident hardly amounted to build-up to contesting a group featuring Brazil. World Cup final hero Geoff Hurst secured a 1-0 win over Romania in their opening game and after losing to the Selecao by the same scoreline — a game where Moore’s tackle on Pele and Gordon Banks’ miraculous save from the great Brazilian arguably overshadowed the winning goal from Jairzinho — an Allan Clarke penalty sank Czechoslovakia.

Progression as runners-up in Group 3 set up a rematch of the 1966 final against West Germany. Alan Mullery and Martin Peters, who also scored in the final four years earlier, had Alf Ramsey’s side 2-0 up and cruising early in the second half. But then the roof fell in on the champions.

First-choice goalkeeper Banks had been ruled out on the eve of the game by food poisoning and his replacement, Peter Bonetti, was culpable for letting Franz Beckenbauer’s speculative long-range drive squirm underneath him.

Ramsey substituted Bobby Charlton and Peters, sending on Colin Bell and Norman Hunter to provide fresh legs. But the younger men could not prevent England from wilting in the Mexican heat. Uwe Seeler equalised eight minutes from time and master poacher Gerd Muller secured a stunning 3-2 win for Germany in extra time.

1986 World Cup: Maradona’s Hand of God

In many respects, it was a wonder England arrived to take part in arguably the most infamous game in World Cup history.

Beaten 1-0 by Portugal in their opening game, Bobby Robson’s side laboured to a 0-0 draw with Morocco in Monterrey after Ray Wilkins was sent off.

Staring at elimination, Gary Lineker’s first-half hat-trick sealed a cathartic 3-0 win over Poland. England then headed to the Azteca, where Paraguay were dispatched by the same scoreline, Lineker bagging a brace en route to the Golden Boot either side of an early second-half goal from Peter Beardsley.

Then came the titanic quarterfinal showdown with Argentina and Diego Maradona.

England tried to roughhouse the great No. 10 to the margins of the game and he responded with an audacious sleight of hand — with his actual hand. The diminutive attacker leapt with England goalkeeper Peter Shilton to divert a looping ball into the goal, quite clearly with his outstretched fist. The linesman didn’t notice, and the goal stood.

England were furious, and a few moments later, they were flat on the canvas as Maradona scored one of the greatest solo goals ever seen on a soccer field, dribbling from his own half past four England challenges to double the lead.

Robson’s team regrouped after that. The introduction of John Barnes for the final 15 minutes had Argentina scrambling and led to Lineker’s customary goal, but Argentina hung on and remained on course for glory.

England all-time results at the Azteca

The games against Paraguay and Argentina are England’s only competitive matches at Mexican soccer’s great cathedral heading into Sunday’s World Cup showdown.

They also drew a 1969 friendly against Mexico 0-0 and lost 1-0 to the hosts in 1985. That match was one of three friendlies across intersecting triangular tournaments a year prior to Mexico hosting the World Cup. It means three of England’s previous six matches at the Azteca took place in the space of six June days in 1985.

In the Ciudad de Mexico Cup Tournament, England lost 2-1 to Italy and went down to Luis Enrique Flores’ goal against Mexico. That match also counted as the first match of the Azteca 2000 tournament, where West Germany effectively replaced Italy in a new triangular.

England beat the Germans 3-0 thanks to an opening goal from Bryan Robson and a Kerry Dixon brace.

Mexico have only lost two of 89 competitive games played at the Azteca, winning 70 and drawing 17.

Sweden

• They will face the No. 1 seed from a group in the Round of 32.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

• A win against Qatar and a draw against co-host Canada were enough to save Bosnia and Herzegovina’s loss to Switzerland. They qualified for the Round of 32 as a third-place team.
• They will face the co-hosts United States, in the Round of 32.

Paraguay

• Despite a tough first match against the United States, Paraguay pushed ahead with a draw against Australia and a win against Turkey and qualified for the Round of 32 as a third-place finisher.
• Paraguay will face Germany in the first round of the knockout stages.

Senegal

• Although they lost two matches to France and Norway, Senegal’s solo win against Iraq was enough to salvage their goal differential and push them into the Round of 32 as a third-place finisher.
• Senegal will face a first-place team in the Round of 32.

Algeria

• Algeria qualified for the Round of 32 as the third-place team from Group J. After they took a late lead against Austria, the Algerians let up a late goal. With the draw though, Algeria still beat out Iran for the final third-place spot in the Round of 32.
• They will face Switzerland in the Round of 32.

DR Congo

• In their first World Cup tournament since 1974, DR Congo became one of the last two teams to qualify for the Round of 32. With a 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan, Les Leopards finished as one of the eight third-place teams.

Best case scenario: Daniels returns to stardom, Washington’s run game remains strong and an improved Dan Quinn defense leads to an NFC East title. But more realistically, the Commanders look like borderline Wild Card contenders until they can prove otherwise.

Kliff Macduff

Kliff Macduff is the protagonist of Crimson Desert and is the one you will play for the majority of the game’s content. Initially, he does have a sword, a shield, and a bow, which are the three main weapon types in the game. She, however, has low HP and banks on her high agility to avoid enemy attacks instead of tanking hits. When Damiane becomes playable is still unknown, but she should be an ideal pick for all players who prefer a rogue-style glass canon gameplay.

Oongka (The Brute)

Oongka (The Brute) is a strong orc with high damage and defensive ability. He lacks agility, but more than makes up for it with his devastating hits from massive weapons. Oongka focuses on AoE damage, and can easily take out large groups of enemies alone with his two-handed axe. Any gamer who prefers a strong build will prefer using Oongka over Daminae in Crimson Desert.

Can You Create Your Own Character in Crimson Desert?

No, you cannot create your own character in Crimson Desert, as it is a single-player RPG that focuses on Kliff Macduff as the main protagonist of the game. The game doesn’t allow you to make a character from scratch, like Skyrim or Dragon’s Dogma 2. However, Kliff Macduff is a ‘play as you want’ character, giving complete freedom to players on which abilities, weapons, or spells they want him equipped with.

How did Bodo/Glimt get its name?

Bodo/Glimt were founded in 1916, originally named FK Glimt. The word “glimt” translates as “flash,” “gleam,” or “spark” in Norwegian.

Bodo/Glimt are from the city of Bodo in Norway, which is located on the Bodo peninsula between the Vestfjorden and the Saltfjorden.

What is the Bodo/Glimt squad worth?

According to Transfermarkt, the combined market value of the Bodo/Glimt squad in the 2025/26 season is around €60 million.

While the world No. 3’s strong on-court performances have garnered plenty of attention in the past years, there has also been a heavy focus on Zverev’s trial over domestic abuse allegations.

Before the 2024 Australian Open, a district court in Germany announced that the German star would face a public trial to answer accusations of physically abusing his former partner.

Zverev has continued to deny the allegations, with a settlement reached in June last year.

Alexander Zverev reaches ‘out-of-court settlement’ following assault case

Zverev settled his domestic violence case with ex-girlfriend Brenda Patea in June 2024, as reported by DW News’ Jonathan Crane.

The “out-of-court settlement” was revealed the morning of his semi-final at Roland-Garros.

The tennis star agreed to pay fines of €150,000 to the state and €50,000 to charity.

Zverev was accused of strangling his ex-girlfriend in a Berlin apartment.

There has been no admission of guilt by the German player.

Alexander Zverev domestic violence allegations timeline

In October 2020, Zverev was accused of domestic abuse by his ex-girlfriend, Olga Sharypova. He denied those claims on Instagram, saying that her “unfounded allegations” were “simply not true”.

Sharypova subsequently conducted two interviews with journalist Ben Rothenberg, which were published in November 2020 and August 2021, respectively. 

The alleged assaults included Zverev punching her in the face, covering her face with a pillow until she struggled to breathe and pushing her against a wall.

In October 2021, the ATP — male tennis’ governing body — announced an investigation into those allegations. Zverev again denied any wrongdoing.

That ATP investigation took place over 15 months before it was closed in January 2023. Zverev was not sanctioned, with the body citing insufficient evidence.

Zverev subsequently issued a statement maintaining his innocence and welcoming the ATP’s findings.

Fresh allegations against Zverev of domestic violence against a different ex-partner emerged in 2023, with the 26-year-old ordered by a Berlin court in November to pay a €450,000 fine.

Former partner Brenda Patea alleged in an interview with a German newspaper that she was pushed into a wall and choked in May 2020.

Zverev denied those charges and lodged an objection against the penalty order, which under German law means a public trial must take place.

In a statement released when the penalty order was issued, Zverev’s lawyers said the evidence had been dismissed as “incomprehensible and contradictory” by a medical report.

Zverev’s hearing began on May 31, 2024, which overlapped with the French Open that year.

The tournament started on May 26 and ran until June 9.

However, he was not required to appear at the trial in person.

This is because the ATP Tour rulebook does not feature a policy for player punishments for domestic violence charges.

According to The Athletic, the rulebook allows for a provisional suspension if a player is charged with a civil or criminal offense “contrary to the integrity of the Game of Tennis”, although that policy was not been implemented.

The hearing was expected to continue into July and potentially clash with Wimbledon, but with the case settled, the trial ended early.

Alexander Zverev questioned over ATP Player Council position

Zverev was announced as a new member of the ATP’s Player Advisory Council at the start of 2024. He was elected by his peers on the tour, alongside nine other members.

The main responsibility of the council is to make recommendations to tour management and the ATP board.

His position on the council while he faces domestic violence allegations was questioned by journalists at last year’s Australian Open.

“Why would it not be?” Zverev said when asked if it was appropriate to be on the Player Advisory Council. 

“Nobody has said anything to me. I don’t have a reason not to believe that.”
