Xbox is putting all its cards in the bag game pass ahead, as it plans to release the next Call of Duty installment on the subscription service at launch.
The report comes through Wall Street Journal in an exclusive that claims that an official announcement from Microsoft is planned for next month’s Xbox presentation, scheduled for June 9.
It’s an interesting move that will see a typically premium game sell for around $70 and be available to players for a monthly subscription fee of between $9.99 and $16.99. Game Pass has been announced as one of the best values in gamesallowing you access to more than 450 titles, many of them smash hits, including Grand Theft Auto 5, Lies of Pand star field.
Meanwhile, PS5 and PS4 players will have to pay full price to experience the next Call of Duty outing.
