Laikathe animation studio behind movies like Coraline has teamed up with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller for, uh, a live-action film.
Since its inception, Laika has carried out one factor: make stop-motion movies. Duffield may even direct, with Lord and Miller serving as producers. “I’ll always remember the second I noticed ‘Coraline’ on opening evening on the AMC Burbank 16 and questioned who these great new geniuses had been,” Duffield stated in a press release. “I can’t wait to make a film with them and hopefully stay as much as their popularity, and I couldn’t be extra excited to have the ability to tackle a brand new journey with my associates at Lord Miller.”
