“Thug” Rose (13-6) is a two-time UFC strawweight titleholder. Moving to flyweight in 2023, she is 2-1 in the division. Ranked sixth, Namajunas is looking to win her third fight of 2024, which could give her a title shot by early 2025.
Heavyweights will also be in action. The co-main event is set to pit Derrick Lewis against Jhonata Diniz.
Ranked 11th in the heavyweight rankings, Lewis (28-12, 1 NC) is 2-1 in his last three fights and holds the record for most wins by knockout (15) in UFC history. A former kickboxing champion, Diniz (8-0) is 3-0 in the UFC following an appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series. He has won all but one of his fights by knockout.
Alexander Romanov (17-3), ranked 12th, was scheduled to face Lewis. The Moldovan fighter, 1-1 in his last two fights, now faces Rodrigo Nascimento. The former DWCS fighter (11-2, 1 NC) is 5-2 with 1 NC in the octagon, losing to Lewis to end a three-fight winning streak.
