As any Dragonwilds player can tell you now, Tin is one important thing you need for survival. Along with Copper, Tin is used to make bronze armor that will protect you from powerful foes. However, getting your hands on some might be a task and then some. Thankfully, we are here. Keep on reading as our dedicated guide will break down how to find and get Tin in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
Where to Get Tin in RuneScape Dragonwilds
In order to get Tin in RuneScape Dragonwilds, you will need to mine Tin Nodes. The Fractured Plains is the prime location for these nodes. Head to the western part of the Fractured Plains, near the broken bridge, to find abundant tin ore. These will be slightly silver, compared to the orange shades of copper ores that you must mine to get Copper in RuneScape Dragonwilds. However, do consider placing a Lodestone nearby for fast travel.

New players need weapons or armor at power level 2 or higher. To reach the destination, you must traverse Whispering Swamp, so be cunning to evade enemies. Utilize the elevated terrain in Fractured Plains to stay safe from stronger foes. From higher ground, eliminate goblins or wolves using your bow. I suggest you craft a bow with better items to increase the damage level.
How to Mine Tin in RuneScape Dragonwilds
As we mentioned, Mining tin ore nodes gets you tin in RuneScape Dragonwilds. You’ll need a Bone Pickaxe for this. To obtain the tin, follow these steps to craft one:
- First, find a bone to unlock the recipe for Bone Pickaxe.
- Then, interact with a crafting table and click the item.
- Now, click the Craft button to make a pickaxe.
- You will need 8 bones, 6 ash logs, and 4 leather to get one.
After you get one Bone Pickaxe, you are good to mine the tin ore deposits. To improve your mining speed, use the Rocksplosion spell in RuneScape Dragonwilds to get the tin. You will need 15x Earth Runes, 5x Fire Runes, and a Pickaxe to use this magic.
Remember, you must have a Bone Pickaxe in your inventory for this spell to work on the ore node. To find the ore nodes faster, unlock and use the Detect Ore + Clay. This summons a spirit that leads you to all the nearby ores.
