The Tale of the Gate Stone quest can be started by visiting the Meeting Point of Frostmoon Enclave and speaking with Kasha, a little kid from the Frostmoon Scions. Kasha will ask the Traveler to help her find “Pretty Stones.” After some more humorous dialogues, the Tale of the Gate Stone mission will start.
How to Complete the Tale of the Gate Stone Quest in Genshin Impact
The Tale of the Gate Stone quest is divided into two small sub-quests:
- Find the Pretty Stone
- Place the fragments on the Stone

Find the Pretty Stone
Kasha will give you the first task of collecting “Pretty Stones” for her. This mission will create a quest area around the Frostmoon Enclave without actually informing you what the pretty stone is that you need to collect.
Look for a blue kuuhenki around east of the quest area circle and press ‘T’ to pick up the Kuuvahki-powered fragment in front of it. Now run back to Asha and speak with her.
Place the Fragment on the Stone
Next, you will be asked to place the fragment on the Stone. Again, you won’t be informed what stone you need to place the fragments on, which can be confusing. To solve this quest, look at the massive stone in the middle of the Frostmoon Enclave.
There would be a blue circle on the stone. Get near it and press T to put the fragment there. The stone would now lift and connect to another massive stone in the distance. This will then complete the quest.
