Anthropic has introduced a new feature called Artifacts to its Claude chatbot, powered by the industry-leading Claude 3.5 Sonnet template. This is a unique feature that allows you to create interactive content using Claude AI, but it has its own separate window and environment.
You can use the Claude Artifacts feature to create a simple browser game, an interactive dashboard, visualizations, charts, and diagrams. In addition, you can also create a simple application that can convert currencies, a calculator to find the percentage difference, and more. Better yet, you can share your artifacts with others via a link.
Artifacts work by running the generated code in a separate window. In this way, it is somewhat similar to ChatGPT’s code interpreter, which allows you to run code in a separate environment. But Claude allows you to preview the code and share your artifacts with others via a link.

It should be noted, however, that Artifacts does not support many programming languages. For example, it cannot run Python or Java code. It mainly runs languages that can be rendered in a web browser like HTML, CSS, React, SVG, Mermaid, etc.
To give you an example, you can use Claude Artifacts to create a visual and interactive demonstration of how the solar system works. You can now share Claude’s artifact via a link and users can play with it or “remix” it to improve it further. The best part is that Artifacts is now free for everyone and you can also create new artifacts on Android and iOS.
How to use Claude artifacts on the web
- First, open Claude.ai (visit) in a browser and sign up for a free account.
- Next, go to Claude’s settings page (visit) and enable artifacts at the bottom.

- Now you can just ask Claude to create something. For example, I asked Claude to create a travel recommendation app.
- And there you have it! She created an app where users can enter their budget and choose the type of destination from a drop-down menu. By clicking, you immediately get a recommendation!

- To share it with your friends and family, you can click the “Publish” button in the lower right corner.
- Then click on “Post and copy link”. You can now share the link and users do not need to create an account to access it.

How to use Claude Artifacts on Android and iOS
You don’t need a subscription to access Artifacts on Claude. It’s free for everyone and easily available on Android and iPhone.
- First, install the Claude by Anthropic app on Android Or iOS.
- Then, sign in with a free account to start using Artifacts.
- Next, go to your profile and make sure “Artifacts” is enabled.

- Now just start chatting with Claude. I asked Claude to create a cool timer app, and here it is.
- I improved it further and asked Claude to add an input field for enter the time and play a sound when the timer is finished. It worked pretty well!

Keep in mind that artifacts cannot be shared via the mobile app. You will need to use Claude on the web to publish your app and share a link with others. Artifacts can, however, be viewed on smartphones, without the need for the Claude app or an account.
Anyway, that’s all for us. Go ahead, check out Artifacts on Claude and share your creations with us and our readers in the comments below.
