The Mountain King Gluttonous Yumkasaur (Kongamato) is a normal boss in Genshin Impact that drops the Overripe Fire Grenade, a character ascension material for Kinich, Kachina, and possibly other Natlan characters in the future. How to Get to the Gluttonous Mountain King Yumkasaur in Genshin Impact

The Mountain King Gluttonous Yumkasaur is a normal boss in Dendro located in an underground cave north of the Scions of the Canopy in Natlan. To access the area, start by heading to the boss icon location on the world map above groundYou can easily get there from the nearby Statue of the Seven.
Once there, you will find a group of Tepetlisauri. You must live with the adult Tepetlisauri to transform into one of them.

The Tepetlisauri has the unique ability to enter cracks in the ground or walls. You will find a magma-filled crack right in front of you. Enter to access the underground cave.

In the underground cavern, don’t forget to unlock the teleport point for easy access to farming. From there, simply glide to the boss field housing the Mountain King Gluttonous Yumkasaur. Approach the boss to begin the battle, and don’t forget to have at least 40 Original Resin to collect the Trounce Blossom rewards after the battle. Since the teleport point is close to the boss field, you don’t need to set up a portable teleport point for farming.
How to Defeat the Gluttonous Mountain King Yumkasaur in Genshin Impact
The Mountain King Gluttonous Yumkasaur is a fairly simple boss with no complicated mechanics. It deals fairly high damage, but nothing a strong shield can’t handle. The boss has high resistance to dendro (but isn’t completely resistant to it), so avoid using a main DPS Dendro. All dendro-reactive elements, such as Electro, Hydro and Pyroare particularly effective in this battle.

A few times during the battle, the Mountain King Yumkasaur will summon one or three Fire Grenades, which are giant blue and yellow fruits. It is useful to Get rid of all Flamegranates using Pyro otherwise, the boss will consume them and spit them out as massive pyro damage. You don’t have to do this (I personally farmed this boss without using a pyro unit), especially if you have a shield, but if you’re struggling with this fight, then a pyro applicator can be useful.
