Similar to all the event passes that have come out so far, you need to grind XP by playing matches and unlock Tier 18 in the ESU Open Day event pass to get the free Mantis Black and Gold skin. You do not need to buy the event pass first to claim this skin.
Simply grind your way up to collect the free Mantis black and gold skin. You will also be able to unlock all other cosmetics in this set, such as the nameplate, animated spray, emote, etc., for Mantis.
Marvel Rivals ESU Open Day Event Explained
The ESU Open Day is the latest event added in Marvel Rivals Season 7.5. The new event has also added 24 rewards for players to claim. As usual, you can either progress by playing matches to claim the free rewards, or you can splash around $7 to get 690 Lattice to purchase the premium VIP pass.
There are amazing benefits of getting the premium VIP pass, such as lucrative skins for Psylocke and Squirrel Girl, which are permanent rewards.
